Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of market opportunities in Luxembourg and Europe for acquisitions and alliances
  • Review and verification of financial data and basic legal data of potential business partners as well as targeted companies, assisting in due diligence process
  • Market research and assisting in risk assessment related to considered transactions
  • Communicating and cooperating with fund's partners (management company, central administration)
  • Communicating with the management of the companies that the fund invests
  • Preparation of reports and presentations related to performed researches and analyses
  • General administration activities (archiving, periodical reporting)
  • Design and development reporting, ensuring a high level of accuracy and timely distribution of reports
  • Gathering and maintenance of a wide array of financial and operational data
  • Analysis and interpretation of key performance metrics
  • Act as an interface between various internal and external stakeholders
  • Ad-hoc analysis and modelling tasks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/ accounting/ business engineering or similar discipline with analytical bias
  • Second faculty degree (e.g. legal, economy or business management) would be an additional advantage
  • Fluent in English
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications: Excell, Word, Power Point
  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
  • Interest in new technologies would be an advantage
  • Strong attention to details and the ability to manage various priorities simultaneously
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills and gain various business experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in the post related to financial and/or market analysis (experience in internationally recognised business consulting or audit firm will be an advantage)
  • Good interpersonal skills, good writing, communication and presentation skills
