Work place: Luxembourg


  • Support the operational processes to acquire, manage and dispose of real estate assets located predominantly in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands and Germany
  • Provide efficient accounting and administration services in relation to real estate assets
  • Manage vendor engagement, budgeting and settlement processes
  • Provide responsive service and support the portfolio management team and other stakeholders
  • Ensure integrity of property information such as valuation, income and expense within the financial reporting systems
  • Ensure compliance with procedures and controls and internal risk policies
  • Manage internal and external loan balances and support relationships with finance providers
  • Preparation and/or review of tax and regulatory reports in relation to Real Estate in various jurisdictions
  • Working on reporting responsibilities for an OPPCI structure
  • Work on Consolidation reporting of accounting data from subsidiary entities
  • Actively engage or manage the audit process and the preparation of the interim and year-end financial statements at both a local and consolidated level


  • Fluent in English. French and/or German would be a plus
  • Experience of accounting and administration within a real estate environment in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands and/or Germany
  • Good investment administration experience within a real estate or investment fund environment
  • Exposure to OPCI / OPPCI structures
  • Experience of coordinating a year-end audit process
  • Experience of using accounting systems such as Yardi, Horizon / Qube, and/or InvestOne (SunGard)
  • Strong reconciliation and investigation skills are essential
  • An ability to work cross-team and cross-department and influence others
  • Good communication skills are critical and the candidate must be able to articulate ideas coherently to colleagues, third party vendors, internal customers and external clients
  • Attention to detail and a good work ethic
  • Experience of service charge accounting, property insurance and related reporting activities would be a plus
  • Good interpersonal skills, as the position requires frequent contact with Portfolio Managers, Research Professionals, Financial and other Administrative staff
  • Strong business analysis and Excel skills
  • Assertive and self-motivated and an ability to prioritise and multi-task effectively
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative as needed, to manage daily tasks and special projects
  • An individual who is professional, pro-active with a high level of personal integrity and focus on the customer is crucial
  • A true team player who will be happy to volunteer to assist colleagues when necessary
  • Utmost discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
