Responsibilities:

  • Investment analysis, modeling and valuation work
  • Critical analysis and review of investment projects, deal materials and financial models and support in development of recommendations on all major investment decisions
  • Critical review, challenge and approval of internal valuation models of portfolio companies for financial reporting
  • Work with Advisory boards and management of business units to ensure proper investment review and decision making process
  • Development and improvement of internal investment and valuation policies and procedures
  • Corporate governance and control
  • Support in monitoring and control over business units and portfolio companies and ensuring the quality of board materials including business unit performance and benchmarking reporting
  • Act as a Corporate Secretary and/or minute taker on different boards and committees of different entities within the Group
  • Incentive programs design and monitoring
  • Structuring, modeling and negotiation of long‐term and short‐term compensation arrangements for business units management and Advisory Boards
  • Critical review and approval of financial models for calculation of carried interest, long‐term incentives and annual bonuses
  • Interacting with external consultants, legal counsels and tax advisers
  • Other special projects and ad‐hoc requests (10%): valuation, analysis, modeling, developing
  • presentations, info memos, minutes and notes etc. for Executives, Board members and Shareholders

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in one of the leading private equity firms, investment funds, investment banks, consulting companies and/or accounting firms in the area of corporate finance and/or investment planning
  • Experience in execution or reviewing of complex investment projects and M&A deals
  • Experience in financial modeling and valuation (including DCF, public and transaction multiples)
  • Experience of monitoring and control over portfolio companies from head office perspective
  • Previous exposure to corporate governance issues and Board matters is a plus
  • High IQ, strong intellectual capacity, excellent analytical capabilities
  • High EQ, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Excellent problem solving skills, solid judgement and pragmatic approach
  • Project management skills: ability to work independently, produce quality result and meet deadlines
  • Result oriented, drive and motivation for personal and team result
  • High achiever, willingness and ability to learn and develop quickly
  • MBA and/or CFA is a plus
